getting married?

Summit County Colorado is a destination hotspot for people wanting to celebrate their wedding ceremony in the mountains.  Our pastoral staff is available to help you for premarital counseling and officiating of your ceremony.  Please review the following information before submitting your request for a pastors help.

The initial consultation is no charge.  In this consultation wedding plans will be discussed and final fees set.  There are additional fees to cover all expenses for out of town weddings.

A base fee of $300.00 is required for all weddings performed.  This is a flat fee and includes three (3) local premarital counseling sessions, local wedding rehearsal, and local ceremony.  The fee is not reduced if premarital counseling is not requested.

This fee is due upon the agreement of the pastor to perform said duties.

Weddings performed outside of Summit County will include mileage expenses and may include additional expenses such as hotel.  These expenses are the responsibility of the couple considering marriage.  These will be calculated and added to the base fee of 300.00 at the time of consultation.

All fees must be paid at the time of agreement of services and are non-refundable.

One Community Church does not have their own facility, so it is the sole responsibility of the couple to provide a facility/location for the wedding.

The couple is responsible for acquiring the marriage license.

Mileage expenses are calculated at the current Federal rate.

Upon making your final decision, please return this wedding policy to the pastor or by mailing it to PO BOX 25809, Silverthorne, CO, 80497.  Your signed agreement will lock the date for the pastor’s calendar.  If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to call the office on (970) 262-7606.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
